Wood being a natural material living and adapting to its environment, contractions, expansions or color variations may occur. These characteristics are normal and natural for any solid wood. The movement of wood fibers in response to exposure to moisture, heat and UV rays is a natural phenomenon that can lead to alterations that are an integral part of every pieces. Corcoran is not responsible for any changes in the condition of the wood since the date of purchase.

Guarantees

The Zen Collection wood furniture is guaranteed against assembly and manufacturing defects, provided that the furniture is used exclusively for residential purposes and is suitable for its intended use, for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase.

The Nature Collection furniture, being mostly composed of one piece, is not covered against manufacturing defects. With respect to this furniture, the Buyer benefits from a twelve (12) month warranty following the date of purchase coveringassembly defects with other parts offer by Corcoran (example: metal table legs) subject to the availability of products and materials.

Regardless of the collection, solid wood movement and color variations are not covered by any warranty due to their natural appearance. Corcoran's warranties do not cover modification of special features approved at the time of purchase. Corcoran's goods are intended for residential and indoor use only, with the understanding that any other use of the goods will void the warranties.

Chairs and sofas are covered by a twelve (12) month warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturer's defects in workmanship and assembly.

Normal wear and tear, transportation, storage, improper assembly or installation by the Buyer, improper use, overuse, alteration or cleaning with improper methods and/or products are not covered by Corcoran's warranties. For greater certainty, normal wear and tear includes, but is not limited to, tears, scratches, impact or accidental damage, discoloration or staining of the product, shrinkage, pilling of materials, warping of upholstery materials and staining.
